I was here very early in the morning (5:30am) there was no queue yet.It is a set menu trying different kind of fish. The sushi was very good.Staff was also very friendly and they knew English

Second time in three years! This place has the freshest sushi and chefs with bubbly personalities that would make your meal an enjoyable one. Decently priced for what you get.

We arrived quite late for lunch and waited for around 10 minutes. The chef in front of our table was not good in english but he was more than happy to serve us perfectly, he made sure we enjoy our sushi. We ordered a set and they were fresh and just perfectly melted in our mouth, especially the otoro (fatty tuna) sushi. They only accept cash, so make sure to bring enough cash before coming here.

Excellent sushi restaurant. Top quality sushi as you'd expect, and the 'chefs choice' provided a great selection. Price was ¥4400 for the 10 piece set menu, cash only. Went on a cold winter's midweek morning, after the market rush and got straight in.

I ate here a few times when they were in the old market and it was amazing Oishī 😋

I came around 10 AM and to eat sushi at Daiwasushi. Wait around half hours. Food is great and chef is funny.

Quick service but may need ten minutes in queue for a seat. Good sushi with very fresh seafood. A little bit expensive.

The shop was relocated due to the fish market is relocated. Toyosu is totally different from tsukiji. The shop is very modern nowadays but they were much more homy in tsukiji. The good thing is there is more space and almost no line to go to Daiwa. But I can tell even the staff miss being in Tsukiji. Please come visit them.

This was one of the few things I wanted to tick off from my wish-list in Japan. I teamed up with another person I met at the hostel, woke up early and made my way through the different vendors and the bustling life of this district in the city. We queued for a good hour or so (I was surprised to see many locals here, unlike in other stalls), but we were rewarded by some superlative sushi. We opted for a tasting set and every piece had a story to tell. Despite the line, it did not feel rushed, and the sushi master in front of us truly enjoyed showing his skills!

This is the best sushi restaurant that I have ever ate before. The food is very fresh because it’s bought from Toyosu wholesale fish market which is next to the restaurant. They will serve you the set menu about more than 13 items of sushi. The price is quite expensive but it’s worth for the quality food. Beware that you must wait for the long line

Arrived early expecting a line. No line, but still glad we grab seats early to enjoy the very best sushi of our trip (quite possibly lives). The tuna was incredible! Everything was well prepared and delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten that early in the morning in my life and felt terrible that I couldn’t eat more - but it was truly delicious.

Worth your money! We had the set and few extras and paid a little over 5000yen per person.Come in early to avoid lining up long or waiting. Check out the Toyosu market observatory for vegetable and fish too :)

This is definitely best of best. Last time was in Tokyo came here twice and this time don’t wanna miss it for sure. Local told me they love it best and many Japanese ate here too. They provide set menu but if you wanna have something more, just let chef know and chef knows the name of those fish. Should come here as early as you can. Otherwise will be a long waiting time

Just sit down, if you don’t know what to order just allow the chefs to serve you. Request chef for more if you’re not done. Enjoy being lost in translation & being served a wonderful mystery sushi meal.

Amazing sushi that we can't get in Toronto. Very fresh and it melts in your mouth. The service was also great, and made it a real authentic experience. We were fortunate and didn't have to wait in line (8am on Saturday morning!)

I went to Daiwa ten years ago at the Tsujiki fish Market location and it was out of this world... unlike any sushi I’ve ever tasted. This morning, I had the same Omakase breakfast and was very disappointed. It was not extraordinary anymore. Besides the quality of the fish which was fresh but very cold from the fridge, our server placed two nigiris on the serving plate at the same time, and placed more down before we were finished. The whole experience was rushed and not pleasant, the chefs were talking and laughing at the counter and with staff behind us. I’m sad that I won’t be able to experience the truly amazing taste I had here before. Will not be returning again.

Eat omakase from the best sushi eateries in the fish market. Did not have the time to take pictures, and eat all of the sushi immediately. They were all good. Place is clean but not many seating area, so prepare to queue.It is definitely recommended for all travelers to Tokyo area, you will not be disappointed. The price is affordable compared to other Michelin sushi restaurants - 4300 yen for breakfast is good for your stomach 😄

Not saying it wasn't all it's cracked up to be, but it fell a tad short of meeting all our expectations in terms of taste and presentation. Our chef was a very friendly guy and made us feel comfortable eating right in front of him. Might go back again on our next visit to Tokyo next summer.

THE best sushi I may ever have in my life. This is the place for it!

There's no menu or price list here. The omakase course was quite good but too expensive, particularly as the portions are just average. The chutoro was really good, everything else didn't taste better than at a random sushizanmai.

Fresh sushi and lots of variety of fish and shells. Price is reasonable. We always come very early to avoid queuing. The location is not as good as Tsukuji market before. I feel that it is less patronage than previous location. The new shop here is much bigger but missing the old market with lots of memories.

It was okay. I had very high expectations since reading all the reviews and the close proximity to the distribution. The tuna and squid were chewy and bland. Service was friendly. The uni and scallop were delicious. Bring cash, a little overpriced at 4000yen.

So worth the early start! We got there around 6.15am on a Friday and didn’t even have to wait in line (Friday seems to be the best day as per other reviews). The chef spoke English and made jokes with us, it was a wonderful experience. The food itself is absolutely incredible, each piece just melts in your mouth. There’s nothing quite like it, I definitely recommend getting up early and making the trek to the market.

The fish is fresh and it was fun to experience it as a tourist. But i had the same type of fish with the same or even better quality in California and Thailand with half of the price with no hassle. The wait was long, it was a rush eating and it was quite a journey going to the location.

Very fresh fish. Omakase cost 4350 per person and there were 10 pieces based on chefs choice. It was an interesting experience to do once. I think quality wise, you can still get these at other spots for cheaper. The experience was very rushed and there weren't any unique pieces which is why I didn't get 5 stars.We arrived around noon and had to wait 30 to 40 mins. The line was long and based on google, it said it closed at 1 pm, which it didn't ... makes me believe that they close when they run out?

Excellent sushi at a very reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and will welcome foreigners. Omakase and tuna cuts were fantastic
